After a successful 2 ½ (and counting) Year Run, the show is Now Airing for TWO Hours Every Monday Night From 9-11PM, Featuring The Best Rising Talent From Today’s Top Independent Emerging Acts
June, 2019 (Garden City, NY) — With a wildly successful 2 ½ year run under its belt already, Music/Entertainment Industry Insider Rick Eberle’s “Rising Stars Radio” is continuing to feature some of the best and most sought after local talent on WHPC 90.3 FM: The Voice of Nassau Community College! Now airing for TWO full hours, Monday nights 9-11PM, the show will be able to bring you even more music, live performances, and interviews from artists and bands in genres from Rock to Reggae, Blues, R&B and Hip-Hop!
Eberle has had a long radio career in the Long Island, NY market which includes hosting his weekly emerging artists show “Unlabeled” (with Rob Rush as co-host) on 94.3 WMJC FM for several years, and then eventually working as the promotions director at 94X FM when they changed formats. He is most widely known in radio for his time at 94.3 The Shark FM where he was instrumental in the initial branding and launch of the new station as promotion director (and a sometimes overnight DJ and on site correspondent for online content). He also had “Uncharted”, a podcast for emerging artists on the web at that time as well.
Eberle is excited to be moving to a two hour show on WHPC, saying “This added time means that even more independent emerging artists from the local area – and all over the globe – will have an opportunity to be heard on FM radio in one of the biggest markets in the world”.
So keep tuning in EVERY MONDAY NIGHT – now from 9-11PM – to hear the best and brightest local artists and emerging independent bands’ new music on “Rising Stars Radio” with Rick Eberle on WHPC 90.3 FM: The Voice of Nassau Community College!
