Following the Release of Her Latest Single “Fear to Be Loved”, She Hit the Road With Other Like Minded Musicians In An Effort To Perform and Raise Awareness About The Bullying Epidemic In Schools
March, 2018 (Long Island, NY) – On the heels of her “Fear to Be Loved” single and video release earlier this month, Singer/Songwriter Ali B hit the road visiting schools and venues in MD, TX, WV, and TN on Foremost Records and Makin Music LLC, Nashville’s Makin’ Music & Makin’ Friends Anti-Bullying Tour!
Her first time out on tour, Ali had an incredible time and looks back on the experience fondly, saying recently “9 days, 4 cities, 10 plane rides and hundreds of miles….fair to say the first tour of my career has been a success! I was extremely honored to be asked to be a part of this amazing cause. While exhausting, traveling to all these new cities was such an exciting experience for me!”. Kicking off in California, Maryland performing at 2 schools – Spring Ridge and Park Hall, she says the shows were eye opening. On playing for the enthralled children, she continued “This was one of my favorite days of the tour. Seeing the kids react and being engaged in my music was one of the best feelings ever!”
Following the MD stop, Ali headed to Austin Texas to perform during the world famous South by Southwest Music Festival, which she considered to be “An awesome experience with musicians all around!”. Performing at West Virginia’s Tamarack Theatre before the final stop in Nashville, TN where she was joined by a collective of other artists who all rocked the stage, it seemed to be a whirlwind of a week for the rising star – “Easy to say, this has been one of my favorite experiences of my career and I can’t wait to get back on the road in the future!”
Ali B grew up in the bustling concrete jungle of New York City, known for its thriving music community and inspiring so many young talents of today. Later moving to Long Island, she used that inspiration – turning it towards her love for music and already thriving vocal ability. Inspired by some of today’s biggest pop music sensations from Selena Gomez to Ariana Grande, she began performing cover songs and later writing her own original music with the help of Klang from MTV’s “Making The Band 4” and Artist / Engineer LaPorte. Noting some of her favorite experiences on her musical journey thus far, Ali says “Every new experience is my favorite, and all of the steps in this journey mean I’m one step closer to reaching my goals”.
Having already gained so much success on her road to continued music development as an artist, songwriter, and performer – she advises other young talents like herself to strive for greatness, saying they should never give up, and adding “nothing is impossible, if you find something you love go out there and give it all you got!”.
Her latest single, which highlights Ali’s incredible vocal talents on top of her passionate songwriting and feelings on love–uniquely profound for such a young talent–was produced by Duane “DaRock” Ramos. DaRock began his career working with with Big Daddy Kane as one of his earliest clients, and over the last 20 years his clientele has included dozens of music legends and hip-hop royalty ranging from LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Common and Jay-Z to Tatiyana Ali, The Pussycat Dolls, Faith Evans, Jadakiss, Nicki Minaj, and Shaquille O’Neal among many others.
