Long Island Comedy Festival Returns to Gold Coast Arts Center

10th Annual Event Will Bring Laughs to Great Neck for Second Year In A Row

July, 2015 (Great Neck, NY) — Following last year’s sold-out show, the Gold Coast Arts Center is pleased to announce that the 10th Annual Long Island Comedy Festival will return for its second year in a row! With performances by some of Long Island and New York City’s top comedians including John Larocchia, Marla Schultz, and Bill McCarty, the event will bring the laughs to the GCAC on Thursday, July 23rd at 8:00PM (Doors at 7:30PM)!

Founded in 2006, the Long Island Comedy Festival brings the best comic talent today to some of Long Island’s most cherished live performance venues for shows throughout the summer. Each showcase features a different line-up of the best comedians from Long Island, the New York City comedy scene and across the country for a night of nonstop laughs and fun. Called “a comedy party that the audience has been invited to,” the Festival features over fifty comedians this summer from the world over, from Ireland to Australia to the UK!

                                                    

Audiences won’t want to miss the Festival’s fourth stop of its 10th Anniversary season when it arrives at the Gold Coast Arts Center! Featured comedians will include:

John Larocchia, an 18-year comedy veteran direct from the Long Island and New York City comedy scene, who wasvoted “Funniest New York City Fireman”on ABC’s “The View,” and has branched out to producing, acting, writing, and hosting a radio show.

Marla Schultz has headlined around the world from London to Japan entertaining U.S. Troops, and has also appeared on Comics Unleashed with Byron Allen, Jim Breuer’s SiriusXM “Raw Dog” radio, and as a guest commentator on the E! Entertainment Network.

Bill McCarty has performed at NYC’s famed “Comic Strip” and LA’s “Comedy Store” and has been featured on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, and A&E’s “An Evening at The Improv”.
