Gold Coast Arts Center Annual Gala Event, in association with the Gold Coast International Film Festival, featuring performances and presentations of the Artist of Distinction Awards in Music (Vince Giordano), Film (Navid Negahban) and “Woman of Influence” (Patricia Riggen – THE 33). Hosted by Emmy Award-winning journalist and Eyewitness News correspondent Kristin Thorne.

Wednesday, October 28th @ 5:30 PM (Event runs until 11PM) The red carpet starts at 5:30, running until about 7:45. In that time the cocktail/dinner hour will be going on. There will be flapper girls and gangsters walking around, and lots of fun shenanigans. Attendees will start going into the theater about 8. The performance/presentations will last until about 9:30 and will include some singing, speeches, video clips and a 20 minute Buster Keaton short film with live music accompaniment. After the show, everyone heads back for dessert which will be cocktail style – with some small additional performances in the cocktail room.

About the Gold Coast Arts Center
The Gold Coast Arts Center is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the arts through education, exhibition, performance and outreach.
