October, 2015 (Plainview, NY) — On Saturday, October 24th, 6:00-8:00PM All Music Inc. will be host to a riveting event for guitarists, heavy metal and hard rock fans who want to both meet and learn from Adrenaline Mob’s Mike Orlando! Having released their debut album Omerta on ECM/EMI in 2012, Adrenaline Mob landed at #5 on the Hard rock Album chart on Billboard, had the #1 Metal Album on iTunes, and iTunes UK Metal Album of the Year. Since then, they’ve released 2 more EP’s titled Coverta and Dearly Departed, and their 2nd full length album Men of Honor on Century Media Records. Orlando has done multiple US tours as well as arena runs w/Godsmack & Avenged Sevenfold with Adrenaline Mob, and has toured across the U.K. with stops at major festivals such as Sweden Rock, Graspop, Bospop, and Gods of Metal. They recently toured South America in 2015 on their ‘Dearly Departed 2015 Tour’.
Recently having had the honor of being the guest guitarist on Season 14 of the widely popular TV show VH1 Classic’s ‘That Metal Show’ hosted by Eddie Trunk, Don Jamieson & Jim Florentine, Orlando also returned to perform as a featured guests on the VH1 Classic’s TMS Season 11 premiere. His newest endeavor A BEAUTIFUL DISASTER, is a brand new band with a new breed of rock, combining unforgettable melodies, meaningful lyrics and a unique blend of masterful songwriting and musicianship, demonstrating that there are still musicians out there that actually prefer to play “real” instruments in the digital age. The band will record their debut album this summer & their shooting for a 2016 release.
As owner of his own recording studio, Sonic Stomp Studios, he handles everything from engineering, producing, mixing & mastering. Mike has engineered, co-produced, mixed & mastered Adrenaline Mob’s “Coverta”, “Men Of Honor”, and “Dearly Departed” releases on EMI & Century Media Records. He also has engineered & co-produced their debut album “Omerta” as well as both Mike’s Instrumental albums Sonic Stomp I & II. When he’s not recording & mixes his own albums he does the same for other clients including working w/producer John Moyer (Disturbed, Adrenaline Mob) and many more.
Orlando also fronts his own Instrumental band Sonic Stomp & released his debut Instrumental CD “Sonic Stomp” in 2007. The CD, which has achieved worldwide critical acclaim, contains 12 tracks which take the listener from the top extreme rock guitar playing with sheer finesse and lightening speed to beautiful ballads with great emotional feel, and everything in between. In November 2010 he released the follow-up Cd, Sonic Stomp II which took his playing and composing to a complete other level of virtuosity and overall extreme command of the instrument, and it’s even available on the world famous ROCKBAND Game! Adding to the empire, and founded back in 2011, All Music’s Rock and Roll University in Hauppauge is a performance based rock and roll school where the students take private music lessons each week and then attend rehearsals which all lead up to live rock concerts in theaters around Long Island, New York.
